GSI President William J. Devine founded the company in 1975 after identifying the need for a better way to resolve complex title issues. Since that time, GSI has employed its unique expertise to clear the title to more than 500 parcels of land. GSI's leadership in the field of complicated titles has also led to consulting assignments for banks, law firms and title insurance companies. Although GSI's transactions have been concentrated in the northeastern United States, the firm's capabilities extend to land parcels across the US and Canada.
